In Arizona, a Licensed Nursing Assistant is a Nursing Assistant who has passed an additional background check upon successful completion of their nursing assistant training and upon passing their State Board exams.

Do I need a drug test to enroll?

No. We require that you provide a recently passed drug test as soon as possible and no later than the first week of class.

Where should I go for the drug test?

You will need a 5-panel test and can go to any testing site that offers them. We recommend 911 Drug Testing.

During the CNA/LNA program, we will explain the steps and guide you through the process of registering for the State Board exam. We host Board exams around every month.

You will need to obtain a passing score on all classroom exams, obtain CPR certification (we offer CPR at our facility and you can enroll here), obtain a recent TB (tuberculosis) test, and provide a signed a medical clearance form.

How do I obtain a TB test and Medical Clearance?

We recommend Wellness for Less clinic as they provide low cost physical/medical clearance assessments as well as TB tests. Students may go to 911 Drug Testing for their TB test also.
